Pop up display comparison
Confused? Compare? Compromise? Criteria? Cost? Consistency?
So many Systems - why?
Concept:
Pop-ups aren't new - they have been around since the early 80's, particularly in Europe. Brilliant for their compact design, ease of transportation and set-up, no tools required therefore eliminating use of Contractors, Hire Vans etc as required for the first type of
'portable display stand' the linked panel systems.
Few pop-ups were available in the early days and since the mid 90's, many exhibition stand Companies have too realised the pop-up potential and become Distributors, some have even manufactured their own. Why are they so different in cost, quality? Capability?
Compare:
Most manufacturers have taken on board the Concept, but not taken it to its final and complete conclusion. For example, if a system is magnetic, why is it then that there are hooks, headers and kickers required to strengthen the essential element of the graphic panels to make it possible to attach them to the system and help them stay there. It could be said parts are missing and the design is only part finished:
We are all aware that a magnet has its limitations in strength. From the examples shown below, come to your own conclusion.
Expo Display Service's Prestige pop-up is the only system on the market that can be used magnetically in two different ways - Example 1 shows the usual less magnetic way with headers, kickers etc., less components (so initially costs slightly less), but as panels are being replaced, so are the headers and kickers (not so cost effective)- Example 2 shows Prestige's unique and standard way: See why it is more flexible, comprehensive and durable, stable and more cost effective.
