Counterfix setup instructions

Setting up the Expo Counterfix portable counter will take approximately 5 minutes of your build up time.
The following guide is for the 2x1 curved Counterfix system but the principle is the same for all Expo Counterfix stands.

Place the Counterfix popup frame on the floor making sure the screw in adjustable feet are tight. Gently lift the frame until it is fully extended and ensure magnetic locking arms are connected before adding magnetic struts. The frame should now stand alone. The short straight magnetic struts are fixed to the hubs in a vertical position on curved Counterfix systems. There are 8 straight struts with a standard 2x1 curved Counterfix.

Next add the horizontal curved magnetic struts to the popup Counterfix frame, the longer struts at the front and the shorter to the rear. Then clip the 2 u-shaped endcap struts (with the screw in adjustable foot) to the bottom of the frame. The long vertical straight magnetic strut is inserted into the slot on the lower endcap strut before slotting the top endcap strut and clicking it to the top of the frame.

Once all the the struts are assembled to the popup frame place the shelf (or shelves) onto the cross bar. The shelf has 4 notches cut out to rest on the hubs of the frame. Add the middle Counterfix top which fits onto the top of the frame in the same way as the shelf. The top ends click into the center top as shown in the picture (to remove them just lift).

The graphic panels are numbered from left to right to define the location on the system. Dress the frame starting with the center graphic panels leaving the endcap panels till last. The panels must be lined up accurately positioning the panel in the middle of the top left vertical strut. Ensure the panel runs directly flush with the top horizontal strut. Prestige magnetic tape has very strong polarity, which assists you in hanging your panels in the correct place. Smooth the panel downwards, first on the left then on the right. Position the next panel directly flush with the edge of the previous.

Once you have finished setting up the counter please take care if you decide to move it because this can move the panels out of position. It is recommended to position the Counterfix before hanging the panels on.

 

Take down procedure
Dismantling your Counterfix is basically the reverse of setup. When you pack the Counterfix graphic panels panels, always place them flat in the bottom of the case face to face to avoid the print or magnetic tape being damaged. Next lift the endcap topplates and remove the shelf. Take care when packing these away to avoid damage when in transit. Next remove all the magnetic struts from the counter frame before attempting to lower the frame. To remove the struts depress the clip on the back of the pull away from the hub. Take care to pack all the components away into the case in the correct way.
