Stony Stratford Christmas Lights

The splendid Stony Stratford Christmas Lights 2009 Switch On took place on Saturday 28th November. The whole day was a great success thanks to generous donations for the lights from local businesses including Expo Display and other members of the Stony Stratford Business Association.

We are the Word

The “We are the Word” project brought together young people from around Northamptonshire to promote cross-cultural dialogue and understanding. They did this through creating an exhibition of vibrant Aerosol Artwork to demonstrate shared values using their own languages.

At the launch of the exhibition, the Chairman of Northampton County Council expressed that this thought-provoking work should be exhibited Nationally.

Despite the desire to get it seen, there are thirteen 6ft long canvasses in the Exhibition which has limited the locations that could accommodate it. In addition the original canvasses could not be displayed in outdoor settings which would be invaluable in presenting this work to the wider community. Expo produced Vinyl prints that were easy to transport, store and could be displayed in a number of ways and  they look fantastic.

MK Midnight Moo

"July 18th 2009 saw a herd of 1000 udderly fantastic ladies pound 10 miles of Milton Keynes redways, pledging to raise an amazing £100,000 to support the work of Willen Hospice. There was an amazing buzz throughout the whole night and everyone had a wonderful time."

Willen Hospice is appealing for people to help out at the 2010 event, whether male or female - call the MK Midnight Moo hotline on MK 306698

Willen Hospice Provides specialist care to adults in Milton Keynes, and the surrounding areas, who have life limiting illnesses. Services are provided within the Hospice itself, within their Day Hospice, or within a patient’s own home. Willen Hospice are a registered charity and care is provided at no cost to patients or their families. 

Red Bull Air Race

Red Bull Air Racing chose Expo Display to supply their promotional stand to tour over 22 nightclubs throughout the UK. We created an eye catching promotional stand that had to be well illuminated in crowded dark locations. After their first event the comment from Red Bull's marketing department to Expo was, "Thank you, Pam - it looked awesome!"

Inside-Ex Show at the Milton Keynes Dons Stadium

This years Inside-Ex Show was held at the Stadium MK which is the new home ground built for the MK Dons football team. Our stand was in a great location at the top of the stairs just in front of the main entrance to the hall. As the day went on we managed to expand outside of our shell scheme which was great as we had brought too many displays as usual. 

The venue was ideal for exhibiting, we set up our popup display stands in the afternoon before and everything went smoothly without problems. For other exhibitors this was not the case, Barter Card rollup displays failed on them minutes before the doors opened. Luckily for them we were there to help and we managed to re hang the graphic and re-tension the mechanism on site. Let this be a  warning to anyone thinking of purchasing cheap quality unreliable stands. We asked them to make a donation to Willen Hospice for our efforts.

The shows entertainment featured Britain's number 1 Dell boy lookalike and impersonator (sorry I have forgotten his name, email me to update) "Mange Tout!!"

Milton Keynes Academy

Expo have been working with a local design agency Planet PR to produce an exhibition stand for a new school in Milton Keynes, The Milton Keynes Academy. The Academy is a new type of secondary school, which is set to offer students the very best facilities and a progressive, practical approach to learning. The Academy which opened in September this year is due to be officially opened by His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent on the 17th November 2009.

Inside- Expo Exhibiting at the Xscape Snowzone

Expo Display Service exhibited at the annual regional business to business exhibition, Inside- Ex which was held at the Xscape Milton Keynes ski slope earlier this month. Our stand featured the launch of our new Expo popup display counter (pictured to the right) and Deluxe rollup banner which attracted a lot of attention.
The exhibition has become established as the prime event where key businesses from North Bucks, Beds and Northants come together to promote their businesses and to network. This year there were exhibitors from the finance, recruitment, IT, interiors, marketing and manufacturing industries to name but a few.
The exhibition was promoted widely throughout Bedfordshire, Northants and North Bucks and was sponsored by Inside Business, MK NEWS, Absolute Executive Travel, Business Link, Federation of Small Businesses and Institute of Directors.

Eurostand distributor

Expo have recently evaluated products from Eurostand’s range of portable displays and are now a distributor for Eurostand. Managing Director Pam Bryant says, "We have added their products to enhance our already extensive range of quality portable display stands. The A3 and A4 landscape portable literature stands are excellent quality and come complete in an aluminium carry case."

Expo – was Turkey ’s Delight
Date: 31st May 2006

Expo Display Service based in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes received a panic telephone phone call on Wednesday 24^th May from ‘Hurriyet’, Turkey ’s largest Newspaper. Hurriyet’s exhibition stand and Counter was burnt in the inferno in Istanbul ’s Airport Cargo Hall.  It was about to be flown to the UK for the International Press Institute Board meeting in Edinburgh less than 2 days later. The graphic origination was emailed over to Expo the following morning, the graphics were immediately printed and the stand despatched and delivered to Edinburgh by noon on the following day to meet their deadline. Now that is what you call hurry’n’it!

Continuing the success of Expo Displays ever increasing worldwide recognition for their quality and service, they have recently produced pop-up stands for a Company in Florida who had an event in Beverley Hills another in Monaco , Germany , Flanders and Switzerland . A few of the many recent U.K. new client’s are Cranfield University , University of London , Pentax, Exeter Museum .
